Rixos Thermal Resort, 2013

Inspired by Eskisehir’s historical layers and healing thermal springs, this award-winning project stands as a modern homage to Odunpazarı’s heritage. With a design that minimizes environmental impact, the spa and wellness center are tucked into the earth, bringing the ancient hammam tradition to life. Natural light filtering through domes creates a poetic ambiance underground, while geothermal energy ensures a sustainable lifecycle. Executed by 3R Design Factory in alignment with GAD’s architectural concept, the construction documents seamlessly weave the soul of the past into the comfort of the future.
